Next week, Eidos will showcase four different PS2 games at the Electronics Entertainment Expo. This includes the highly anticipated next-generation title Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Also of note are games such as Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (ed. note: you can read our exclusive first interview with Hitman 2 lead designer Jacob Andersen on the PS2 version of the title by clicking here), Timesplitters 2 and Legaia 2: Duel Saga, which is the sequel to the PS one title The Legend of Legaia. More detailed descriptions of each of these games are below.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin: For more information on this game, please read our latest preview by clicking here.

Timesplitters 2: The series origially started exclusively on the PlayStation 2 as a launch title back in October of 2000, the Timesplitters game grew so big that Eidos decided to make the sequel for the PS2, Xbox and GameCube. Created by members of the original GoldenEye team, this T-rated first person shooter takes you to an unimaginable gaming experience. A rift in space and time has been discovered, operated by the malicious TimeSplitters. They have been traveling back into human history authoring events that have led to the enslavement of mankind and, of course, you have to stop them.

Legaia 2: Duel Saga: Originally only released in Japan, Eidos is bringing this promising looking title to the states under their new Fresh Games label. Legaia 2 is a Japanese turn-based RPG, which features real-time backgrounds and voice acting. Eidos will translate and localize the game for the Western market. Let's just hope that they do a good job.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness: What more can be said about this title? If you somehow missed out on all of the info from a little while back, click here to read our feature on the upcoming game, and be sure to look at the nice screens while you're there.
