Want to play TimeSplitters in four player deathmatch mode? Or maybe start firing on your fellow players in Unreal?
Gamers who plan on purchasing such four-player games may be in for a shock of a lifetime. Sony has delayed their 4-player Multitap unit until November 3rd.
The new Multitap unit allowed players to hook up to four additional controllers, and utilize four more memory cards. What's worse, is that the PlayStation(1) Multitap is not compatable with PS2 games.
So does this mean that gamers can't play four player games until November 3rd? Not exactly. Luckily, third-party firms have once again come to the rescue with their own Multiplayer products.
At the same time however, if you're the kind of person who only trusts products from Sony, the best thing to do is to wait it out until the 3rd.. maybe two-player TimeSplitters isn't that bad.
