TimeSplitters: Confirmed For Launch
TimeSplitters will indeed be arriving for the PlayStation2 console in time for the console's launch in October.

This week, Eido's Interactive announced that TimeSplitters; one of the more anticipated titles for the PlayStation2 console will indeed be making it's way over to the console by October 26th; the North American launch date.
The first-person shooter which has as of recent received much needed postive feedback by the critics and gamers alike will run at up to 60 frames-per-second and feature a four-player arena deathmatch mode. An additional feature included with the title is known as MapMaker, which will allow players to fully customize arenas to their liking.
Hundreds of newly created levels using the MapMaker application can be stored onto the PlayStation2 8MB Memory Cards. Greg Rizzer; PR Manager for Eidos Interactive stated the following in regards to the title:
