LucasArts has announced that they plan to reach the pinnacle of gaming entertainment by releasing Thrillville: Off The Rails for the Playstation 2 and PSP, to be released this October. Not to be confused with the (canceled) game Thrill Kill, an entirely different genre, Off The Rails will expose gamers to 20 insane rides with all sorts of tricks up their sleeves such as rings of fire and perilous leaps across different tracks across over 100 missions and 34 multiplayer games.

While these probably wouldn't be the safest of rides in a real life scenario, we don't have play by the laws of physics (or federal regulations) here in the digital world, lending to an ridiculous assortment of rides and attractions for virtual park visitors. The game will also allow for more interaction between park visitors, but players are warned to be careful because a rival theme park might be trying to get a piece of the market's pie by stealing ideas.

"Between its amazing new WHOA Coasters, improved socialization, and a huge selection of minigames, Thrillville: Off the Rails is practically three great games in one, and it offers a fantastic bang for the buck," said Jim Ward, president of LucasArts. Those who haven't experienced the Thrillville series before can pick up the predecessor to Off The Rails for the WHOA price of $19.99.
