PS2 Throws The Ultimate 4th of July Bash

While you spent your 4th of July eating hotdogs and hamburgers, tanning by the pool and setting off fireworks, PlayStation 2 celebrated Independence Day at the ultimate Hamptons destination -- the "PlayStation 2 Hotel at the Bentley." By transforming the Bentley Hotel into the ideal PS2 playground, guests, visitors and celebrities were able to enjoy their 4th of July right! Hotel guests included Wilmer Valderrama, Rosario Dawson, Jared Leto, Mos Def, and Shane West. Other notables who visited the property were Tara Reid, Mos Def, Al Shearer, Michelle Rodriguez, Sophia Vergara, Donovan Leitch, Kirsty Hume, Andre Harell, Lizzy Grubman, Victoria Gotti, Bree Turner, Harold Perineau, Rocco DiSpirito, Los Angeles Clipper Michael Olawakhandi, Jordana Brewster, Eric Nies and Russell Simmons.
Hotel guests were treated right with a variety of activities at the hotel, from manicures and pedicures to tennis lessons, Power Yoga to Cardio Strip Tease. Most notable, though, were the PlayStation 2 games available on site, including Amplitude, Ratchet and Clank and The Getaway. Following was the itinerary of events that occurred each day at the venue:

PlayStation 2 Poolside Lounge Party
To kick off the weekend, PlayStation 2 hosted a casual cocktail reception to open up the hotel. Jordana Brewster, Wilmer Valderrama, Jared Leto and Rosario Dawson enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres poolside.

PlayStation 2 Celebrates the Red, White and Blue hosted by Sean "P. Diddy" Combs
The event was a special poolside event and BBQ featuring a special performance by Busta Rhymes. P. Diddy wowed the crowd when he hopped up on stage to perform an encore of "Pass the Courvoisier." Russell Simmons and Andre Harell were among the special guests who helped celebrate the holiday P. Diddy style.

2:00PM: PlayStation 2 Rocks the Hamptons in association with Rock the Vote
Guests had the opportunity to register to vote and were treated to a musical performance by recording artist, Mos Def.
8:00PM: PlayStation 2 Premiere of Feature Film "League of Extraordinary Gentleman"
Hosted by Shane West, presented by 20th Century Fox. Shane West hosted this New York screening of the title film in which he stars opposite Sean Connery. Guests sat under the stars and snacked on cinema treats while watching the huge screen on the lawn of the PlayStation 2 Hotel.

PlayStation 2 Brunch Hosted by Amanda Hearst and Elizabeth Keiselstein-Cord.
To close out the weekend, these well-known New York socialites hosted an event to benefit the RIVERKEEPER CHARITY with a special PlayStation 2 raffle. Tara Reid, Jared Leto, Rosario Dawson and other guests enjoyed brunch by the pool to close out the eventful weekend.
