Dolby To Showcase PS2 Games In Surround Sound @ E3
Dolby Laboratories has announced that they will be showcasing new PS2 games developed in multi-channel surround sound at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E[sup]3[/sup]).

Doly Laboratories, Inc. has announced that they will be showcasing new PS2 games developed in multi-channel 5.1 channel surround sound (also known as Dolby Digital) at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E[sup]3[/sup]).
Several major developers have committed to using Dolby multichannel audio technology on more than 30 new titles for the PlayStation 2. Developers planning to release games in Dolby Digital 5.1 include Acclaim, Argonaut, ATD, Brain In A Jar, Criterion, Eidos, Infogrames, Jester, Microprose Motorsports, Rage, Sony Studios, and Squaresoft.
