Atari yesterday revealed development of their latest pedal-to-the-metal racer was under way. Test Drive: Eve of Destruction takes the clean organized look the series suited nicely, for a more chaotic, extreme style of racing. The game will feature a selection of more than 30 custom vehicles, a dynamic soundtrack and a split-screen multiplayer mode for up to four players. From where I'm sitting, it looks like Atari's looking to give Need for Speed: Underground a run for its fun.
