Truth, Justice, and an Official Hollywood Voice Cast

Getting the faces and voices of the actors from your licensed motion picture property? It's the American way!

Though some may take offense to this statement, we're willing to bet that Electronic Arts is the only publisher with the kind of bankroll needed to get all the major actors involved in a licensed movie game to donate their voices to the part. Now, it's entirely possible that a developer or publisher might convince the cast to show up and drop some voices based purely on how awesome the game itself is, but EA's the only one that can (and probably did) shell out the cash needed to replicate the pipes seen on the big screen for the small one.

You saw it to a lesser degree with The Godfather which borrowed a handful of actors from the movie, but Superman Returns trumps it, lining up the full headline cast to reprise their roles for the game based on the movie directed by The Usual Suspects and first two X-Men movies' Bryan Singer.

Newcomer Brandon Routh, Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, Parker Posey and Sam Huntington will all lend their faces and throats to the roles of Superman/Clark, Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, Kitty Kowalski and Jimmy Olsen, respectively. The EA Tiburon (of Madden fame) project will hit near the same time as the movie's release on June 28th.
