A lot of news and not alot of time until Playstation2. (48 days)
+ TOP STORY - After unveiling its three offerings for PS2 - Orphen, Gunslinger, and Street Lethal - at E3 2000, everyone was just waiting for the official word on Activision bringing it's biggest title, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, to the PS2. Well, word has just come down saying that it, "has at least nine other titles for the system in the works, including new installments in two of it's established extreme sports franchises." This pretty much guarantees that Tony is coming to the Playstation2. In fact, it will be Tony Hawk 3, not just a port of Tony Hawk 2.
+ HEADLINES - Reflections, developer of 1999's hit title Driver and the yet to be released Driver 2, has recently announced a new PS2 game entitled Stuntman where you start off as a trainee making a cameo in B movies and make your way up through the ranks, and end up by starring in your own summer blockbuster (Gone In 60 Seconds style). Stuntman will incude over 10 cars and more than 20 different stunts (spanning 6 films). Expect a Driver-esque Director's Mode as well in order to view your stunts in all their car crunching glory. Expect a release sometime next summer.
+ OTHER NEWS - Blizzard Entertainment is said to seriously considering bringing it's latest mega-hit Diablo II to next gen consoles, including the Playstation2. According to sources within the company, nothing has been confirmed as of yet, and if the game does make the jump to the PS2, it will likely undergo a massive number of changes. No word on if a mouse and keyboard will be used.
