Greatest Hits Library Grows By Two
Atari gets a pair of inductions; you get a pair of price reductions.

Say what you will about Stuntman (61[/reviews]]we certainly have), but don't call it expensive anymore. Atari announced today that two games contained under the Infogrames offshoot label are the newest additions to Sony's Greatest Hits program, making them both nice and cheap for anyone who hasn't had a chance to check them out. While we can't vouch for the validity of Stuntman's fun factor, 64[/reviews]]Test Drive, the other inductee, is an absolute blast, and at $20, it's now quite the steal to boot.
The whole idea behind the Greatest Hits program is that games that have sold well and have been out for a while get resuscitated at a new, lower price and shiny new packaging. To even qualify for the program, a game must have been on the market for at least nine months, and have sold at least 400,000 copies. If it meets that criteria, and Sony thinks the games should move for a lower price, they get a new red label and a discounted price, simple as that.
Both games will hit Greatest Hits status this summer, and will retail for a measly $19.99. Test Drive will be available first a week from tomorrow (that'd be the 29th), and Stuntman will drop to bargain bin prices on June 26th.
