E3: New Stuntman Details Arrive
More details arrive at E3 concerning Infogrames and Reflections Interactive new PlayStation 2 title, Stuntman.

At the 2001 Electronic Entertainment Expo, new details have arisen concerning a recently announced PlayStation 2 title, Stuntman. In this title, players assume the role of a Hollywood stuntman who is hired to perform stunts for various films.
As a player traverses from movie to movie, the stunts become progressively more difficult to perform. Moreover, in order to build up the stuntman's career, players must obtain more accumulate points. Each stunt will consist of a series of defined objectives, such as 180-degree spins or perfectly timed jumps.
Vic Armstrong, who has worked on more than 250 movies around the world, with directors such as Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, will be lending himself as a technical consultant for the games development. Stuntman will feature a plentiful amount of accessible vehicles to drive and crash, rendered cut-scenes from each movie along with two different modes of gameplay -- story and arcade mode.
Six different locations within the game will be based upon legendary film sets. Players can collect bonus items such as ramps and explosives in order to build within their own stunt arena. Players can even create their own movie trailers, and play them back on their PlayStation 2 console.
Infogrames recently opened up the official Stuntman website, located at Stuntman-game.com, which will allow players to enter the 'Stuntman Championship' where they can compete with other players across the world. Tom Richardson, Director of Marketing for Infogrames Los Angeles Label stated the following in regards to the recent unveiling:
