Sly Cooper Sequel in the Works
The sequel to one of the Most Anticipated Games of Last Year is Getting Lots of TLC From Sucker Punch Productions

Sony yesterday announced that Sucker Punch Productions is hard at work on a follow-up title to last years much overlooked platformer, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Going by the title Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sucker Punch is amending a number of problems that hindered the original from achieving AAA-title status. With additions that include new gadgets, team-based adventures, and a new heist gameplay system, a thieving Raccoon never looked so good.
This time around, the tale revolves around Sly's arch-nemesis from the last game, the evil Clockwerk. After having been destroyed in there last encounter, Clockwerk is being put back together again piece by piece. It's up to Sly Cooper and his gang to locate the pieces of Clockwerk that are missing and steal them back so he can never be reassembled. Throughout his new adventure, Sly will touch down on a number of exotic locations such as; Paris, Prague, the Canadian Wilderness, India and a number of other animated cities based on their real world counterparts.
Expect to see Sly II sneak into stores this coming holiday season. It's a ways off but, if the improvements tune-up the gameplay enough, and they decided to add a little more meat to the adventuring than last time, expect to see a real contender for a must-have holiday pick.
