It’s a Good Day for Romancing

Take a rain check, Romeo, we’re talkin’ bout Squenix’s Romancing SaGa heading to stores as we speak!

Albeit two days later than originally announced (we know, we know, RPG gurus, it’s been hell on earth the past 48 hours, but we just write ‘em as we see ‘em!), Romancing SaGa has today wooed the pants off of… ok, scratch that… Square Enix shipped it today and we’ll leave it at that.

For many, delving into the plot of Romancing SaGa will be a first, as the original on SNES (or the original Super Fanicom for our Eastern friends!) off of which it’s based was never released in America. Nonetheless, this is creator’s Akitoshi Kawazu’s saga as he envisioned it all along: stunningly rendered in 3D and free-roaming, with eight selectable characters to choose from in leading your quest.

Will you let the minstrel guide you? If it’s to a game store, then bravo: Romancing SaGa is waiting under a $39.99 price tag.
