Rogue Trooper Shelved

No, wait, we mean that in a good way. It's on store shelves.

Today is a day for happy dances, for Rogue Trooper has finally hit shelves. We dance, of course, because we must (or we're whipped and the TPS overlords give us no gruel), but at least this day we have a reason to do so. It's not so much that we're bonkers for RT, but we have to admit that we finally see what all the fuss is about with this whole 2000AD universe thing.

Oh, sure, there are probably people out there rolling their eyes (and we're willing to be 99% of 'em are from the UK), but here in the States, we never really had a reason to get into the whole 2000AD mythos. No, seriously, two words: Judge Dread. Three more: Starring Sylvester Stallone. Three more co-starring Rob Schneider. Yeah.

There's probably something to be said for having the ability to dig out chips with the personalities of your recently deceased war buddies and slap said chips into your helmet, gun and backpack, too, but really that's just us trying to list off more things about the game to fill up more space in this news story. See, in addition to having the power to craft run-on sentences like we're paid to do it, we're also kinda jazzed about the game. Cause it's good, y'see.

But hey, if you don't believe us, you could always just head out and pick up a copy; it's finally sitting on store shelves right this second, so you really have no excuse, Mr. Prove-Us-Wrong. Or, if you're looking for a little more info, be it [ps2media=922]screenshots or movies[/ps2media] (there's plenty of both) or even, ohhhh a huge ass preview with a near-final build of the game, we've got you covered on all fronts. It's just the way we roll, baby. That's right, with forced slang in an attempt to sound hip. Yeaahhhh.
