Rebellion Goes Rogue
Rebellion takes another stab at another comic book

Eidos recently announced plans to release a third-person shooter based around the 2000 AD comic series for the Playstation 2 in Spring 2006. The game, Rogue Trooper, goes over the role of a Genetic Infantryman (G.I.) as one of an elite regiment of biologically-engineered clone troops, created to fight the Nort War machine. After witnessing the annihilation of his entire regiment Rogue goes AWOL.

Standard for any shooter that is usually "fun for multiplayer", Rogue Trooper comes replete with 4-player online co-op. Competative play was not mentioned at press time.
Rebellion's last comic project was Judge Dread Vs. Death. The critics weren't smitten with it. So, yeah -- lots of weapons, lot of things to point them at. Where the game shows it's unique flavor remains to be seen.
