For our first edition of PSX2.com's GT3: Rants & Raves, I was overwhelmed by the response, but go ahead and keep 'em coming! The following are only a sample of what everyone has been talking about around the proverbial watercooler:[blockquote]"BEST, RACER, EVER!"

"A mile stone in the video game industry- In one way it shows a huge leap in the evolution of the last 25 years of gaming and how it has come long, and the other way it shows the future of the next generation systems and were we will be taken. the simple effects- lighting, shading, weather, reflections..., should be a refrence for game production here on out. It's about time a group of intelligent people sat down and made a real video game and not a flashy miss leading lable just to make money, though plenty of money will be made off this game. I'm tired of games building a lot of hype before their release and then becoming boring so quickly. (red faction, ATV off road fury). If you like game or not(yes there are some flaws-cant find any sfx or music valume control, and still has same old tire skretching sounds), it is an amazing feat in video game history."

"GT3 Aspec is by far the most highly advance racing game of its time. The graphics are really great, exept they were a little more grainy than I expected. The game play is in one word "AWESOME" although I never used the dual shock 2 controller because I was addicted to the Logitech GT Force wheel. The force feedback features are amazing with i think four different presets. Along with the great presentation is a great adio track which include remixes, and whole songs expecially made for Gran Turismo 3. The game offers the best of both with a great arcade and simulation mode. Offering lots of car selection, as well as many tracks. I find the game to be slightly more difficult than the previous releases, wich is a good because the game has lasting appeal. I don't think it is possible to get bored of this magnificant peice of software. Defenatly worth the wait. If you don't have this game buy it. If you have a ps2 buy it. If you have the money, and don't have a ps2, buy that and then buy GT3. Although the game is great I highly recomend purchasing a GT Force wheel with it to get the full advantage of the GT3 features. Those who have the equiptment, try the i.link feature, you'll truley be amazed."
