Midway has announced that Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, its 3rd person action title that's all about the mind, has gone gold and is expected to hit stores on the 14th of June. As American Psi-operative Nick Scryer, players will have to employ a collection of mind powers, including Telekinesis, Mind Control, Pyrokinesis, Mind Drain, Aura View and Remote Viewing, in order to bring down a terrorist organization (The Movement) with plans of world domination. When not using his noggin (as weapon, that is), Nick will have a number of firearms at his disposal to clear the floor using, such as a shotgun, machine gun, flame thrower, and a power-packing rocket launcher. After checking this one out ourselves at last month's E3, we can assure you it's one that truly pushes the envelope in terms of innovation and ingenuity.
