What's a party without fresh tunes? ARUSH Publishing has given first details on the diverse soundtrack set to be featured in Playboy: The Mansion, the game that puts players into the fuzzy slippers of Hugh Hefner in his rise to success. Taking undeniable inspiration from the Grand Theft Auto games, eight different radio stations, from hip-hop to rock to house, will be selectable and actually quite crucial in keeping the in-game parties movin'.
Over 40 established and emerging artists will be featured on the soundtrack, including Start Trouble, The Wylde Bunch, The Rosenbergs, Aquavibe, Sugarcult, Petey Pablo, Felix Da House Cat, All-American Rejects and Sander Kleinenberg.
"With Playboy: The Mansion, you can create the ultimate virtual party, and as the best hosts like Hef know, a party isn't a party without great music," commented Jim Perkins, president of ARUSH Publishing. "We're thrilled to showcase music from amazing up-and-coming artists, and think there is something for everyone, with rock, punk, hip-hop, and even flamenco music available on your Playboy Mansion's radio."
The tunes from Playboy: The Mansion's INgrooves radio station, a collection of dance and house music, will be mixed by DJ Felix Da House Cat and released in stores and online in January of next year. The game itself hits stores on January 25 under a "Mature" rating.
