Grab your weapon of choice and head down to the nearest gaming store, because rumor has it that Namco Bandai's NARUTO: Uzumaki Chronicles is battling onto shelves right now.

Naruto aims to battle his way over to Hidden Leaf Village and save it from forces unknown, presumably in a spectacular battle of somesorts. He's not alone, however -- as players will be able to utilize certain equipment to modify speed, strength, and stamina attributes, and partner up with familiar faces (Sasuke, Choji, and Kakashi to name a few). You'll be happy to know that there's a few mini-games and unlockable abilities strewn about to keep things interesting.
