Reggie Rushes NCAA 07 Cover

The 2005 Heisman recipient is receiving yet another honor: EA cover athlete.

What a year it's been for former USC All-American running back Reggie Bush. Not only has soon-to-be top draft pick scooped up a ridiculous amount of accolades, winning the Walter Camp Award (Player of the Year), Doak Walker Award (Best Collegiate Running Back), 2005 Associated Press Player of the Year Award and The Sporting News Player of the Year Award, and most honorably, the 2005 Heisman Memorial Trophy Award, but he's also getting the coveted cover treatment for EA's latest iteration in its college pigskin franchise, NCAA Football 07. Why yes, we do believe he's a pretty happy camper by now.

“This has been an amazing year for me and being chosen for the cover of NCAA Football 07 is a great way to end my college career,” grinned Bush. “I’ve grown up playing EA SPORTS games and never imagined I would see myself on the cover of one.”

We're just waiting for the day when an EA cover athlete candidly blurts, "Are you kidding me? I've been posing to be on the front of game packaging all my life!" Reggie might have taken the modest approach, but his respective game certainly isn't, with NCAA Football 07 cramming in enough college-geared authenticity and realism to drive neckless, gung-ho frat boys to the brink of insanity. Not only will they be treated to unprecedented graphics and stadiums, erupting in emotion amongst the cacophony of roaring fans, blaring marching bands and pantomimic mascots, but an all-new momentum system is also here, meaning big plays, stops on defensive and specials teams success can add up into a tide-turning shift at any time in the game. You know what they're probably chanting by now, don't you? GOOOOOOOO FOOTBALL!

For you true fans of the sport who aren't too deeply offended by our stereotypes, the fun will be waiting for you in stores this July, also on PSP for the first time. And for good measure, feel free to gobble up the official website yumminess at www.ncaafootball07.com too. Just, don't hate us, k?
