Not even two days after confirming the development of a new NBA Street, Electronic Arts has announced that a sequel in its other "street" franchise is in the works as well. NFL Street 2 is currently being developed by EA-Tiburon, and as did its predecessor, will give gamers the opportunity to hit the turf and play football the way it was meant to be played – heavy hits and non-stop, over-the-top action! Street 2 will introduce several new gameplay modes to the mix and introduces the series to the world of online gaming.



NFL Street 2 is scheduled for a release in early 2005, but first footage of the game isn't far off, as Madden NFL 2005 will feature a video of the game in its EA Sports Extra section. August 10 it is then!
