Electronic Arts has announced that NBA Street V3, the third installment in its popular street basketball series, is currently in development at EA Sports BIG studios.
"NBA Street V3 is a celebration of the culture and inventive style of street basketball," comments Wil Mozell, senior producer for the project. "We're excited to continue to push the possibilities of customization, self-expression, and creativity in the new school revolution of hoops."
In V3, the depth in customization and variety in game modes will be taken up a notch, as players can craft their own baller, completely create their own courts, compete in a dunk-contest, and even test their reputation online. The over-the-top street balling will once again take place in a number of stunning courts, including "The Cage, "Rucker Park" and a new version of "Venice Beach." Expect to see a roster of NBA legends, today's top players and even original characters from previous Street titles. Are you ready to get your game on?
NBA Street V3, which under the production of Electronic Arts Canada, is expected to slam dunk into retailers in early 2005 on all major platforms. We'll be sure to keep you on top of things once new media and details arise.
