989 Sports announced today has announced that is has signed new deals with three All-Star NBA players: Tracy McGrady, Gary Payton and Ray Allen. McGrady, a three-time All-Star, and Payton, a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, have each signed two-year deals with the company. In addition, acclaimed shooting guard Ray Allen, who appeared on the cover of last year's NBA ShootOut title, has signed on for an additional two years as a company spokesperson. Tracy McGrady will also be gracing the cover of NBA ShootOut 2004 while Payton and Allen will be working with the company as contributing consultants, and spokespersons. Talk about a star-studded line-up!



"Signing these incredible basketball players is a tremendous opportunity for 989 Sports," said Ami Blaire, director, product marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment America. "We have arguably the three best guards in the game today and their enthusiasm, talent, and knowledge of the game will be a great addition to the NBA ShootOut franchise."
