Giving its arch-rival NBA 2K6 a little friendly (and by “friendly”, in EA’s case at least, we mean not buying exclusive rights to a sport so as to screw over your competitor who has the better game) competition, NBA Live 06 has treaded into North American stores, with EA Sports written branded all over that bad boy.

This year’s main attraction? Why, that would be the all-new Freestyle Superstars, where the NBA’s best can be controlled according to how they shine, such as Playmakers, Highflyers, Stoppers, and Power players. The usual depth is here in gameplay with Dynasty Mode, online play and NBA All-Star Weekend, all to be seen in “electrifying” presentation. Shocking!

Pick up NBA Live 06 for the consoles if you please, but some of you gamers on the go may prefer to wait for the PSP version coming October 18. Did you even know there was a PSP version? More on that story at 10!
