Another year, another NBA Live. As is par for the course, we're also treated to another fancy-pants cover athlete, but this year's frontman isn't without merit. The Miami Heat's Dwayne Wade helped Miami reach the Eastern Conference Playoffs, sure, but like all big sports stars, the fun is in dissecting his performance.

In just his second season with the Heat, he set records for single-season points per game at 24.1 and total points at 1,854. He was only the 10th player since 1979 to close out the season in the top 10 in scoring and assists (24.1 and 6.8, respectively). If you REALLY want to get all factoided-out, he was one of a mere seven players to average at least 25 points, six rebounds and eight assists while shooting 50 percent in a playoff series. Not bad, eh?
