Good, Because I Wasn’t Going to Pay for it

Midway announces free soundtrack with NARC preorder
Published: January 28, 2005
Midway today announced its promotional preorder campaign for NARC. Customers who preorder the game at participating retailers will be “treated” to a free two-disc sound track of game music. Containing 15 music tracks, the soundtrack will be comprised of classic rock tunes and original hip-hop recorded for the game by up-and-coming artists.

The track listing is as followed:

Classic Tracks

"Smoke Two Joints" - Toyes
"Pusherman" - Curtis Mayfield
"Step On" - Happy Mondays
"That Smell" - Lynyrd Skynryd
"Professional" - DMX

Exclusive, Original Tracks

"NARC Anthem" - Kenny Knox
"Bring it On" - 3rd Infantry featuring Fatal Phenom
"Find a Way" - XV and Nisha
"Darker Side" - Gravity
"Imma Narc" - Point Game
"N.A.R.C." - Jelly Joe
"Hammers In The Air" - Avenue
"NARC 101" - Attitude
"Police" - Bobby Creekwater and Jimmy Swagger
"Heard He Narcin" - Point Game

The CD’s themselves will carry the looks of a classic vinyl record, giving them an…edgy feel.

So, yea. It’s not that good.

But, hey, they might still include the original NARC, DARE logos and all, that might make it worth the purchase. Keep it here to see if they take the Sage’s advice.
