Midway Confirms Limited Editions of Mortal Kombat: Deception
Set to retail for 10 dollars more than the regular copy, the limited editions of Mortal Kombat: Deception will feature bonus content and the original game to boot.

Midway has announced that limited edition copies of Mortal Kombat: Deception will be retailing when the game ships in October. The special editions will be differ in appearance and title for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 - the Mortal Kombat: Deception premium pack will hit solely for the PS2, complete with Sub-Zero on the cover, while Xbox-ers will receive the Mortal Kombat: Deception Kollector's Edition, available in four unique covers… bastards.
Nonetheless, both limited editions will include the following bonus content:
[list][li]An arcade-perfect, playable of the original Mortal Kombat videogame[/li]
[li]Over 40 minutes of bonus DVD video content featuring a "History of Mortal Kombat" movie that chronicles the origins of the franchise through the release of Mortal Kombat: Deception, along with exclusive biographical videos for each of the 25 characters in the game.[/li]
[li]A serialized, embossed metal Kollector's Card created exclusively for the Limited Edition sets; there will be five unique cards in total (each of a different MK character), corresponding to the respective packaging.[/li][/list]The Mortal Kombat: Deception Premium Pack, carrying a suggested retail tag of $59.95, will be shipping to stores along with the regular edition of the game come October 4, 2004.
