Midway Unveils Mortal Kombat: Deception

Another gore-filled installment in the classic fighting franchise is currently in the works.

Midway has announced the newest installment in its best-selling fighting franchise to be Mortal Kombat: Deception. So what can expect to see this time around? MK: Deception plans to take the martial arts fighting system, as well as overall brutality, to the next level, to catch the attention of both newcomers and hardcore fans of the franchise. Also expect to see breakneck hand-to-hand combat, the return of special weapons, returning characters and some secret ones, and a plethora of moves, combinations and fatalities at your disposal.




"Mortal Kombat: Deception promises to take this revolutionary fighting franchise to an new level", opined Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. "With a host of new features including multiple fatalities per character, multi-tiered interactive backgrounds and extensive new game modes, Mortal Kombat: Deception will set a precedent for all other fighting games to follow."
