The powerhouse known as Capcom announced today the release of Monster Hunter, its online action title that goes by a simple motto: "Hunt or be hunted." At a time where Darwinism is ever-so-present, players step into the roles of monster hunters, taking on assorted quests and ultimately having to battle it out with powerful beasts. As any RPG would have it, players can craft the features of their hunter as they wish, and even bring the battle online, working with up to three other players to vanquish the monsters that tread the game's epic world.

"Monster Hunter is a game truly epic in scope," boasted Todd Thorson, director of marketing, Capcom USA. "From the very beginning of creating your own character's physical appearance and attributes, to photo realistic environments and larger than life quests, Monster Hunter is a genre defining must play."

Monster Hunter has marked its territory in stores, carrying with it a full $49.99 tag a "T" rating seal. Get your introduction to the monstrous world here.
