Madden Invades ESPN
Behold the schedule-dominating power of EA's celebrity tourney.

Okay, so EA clearly understands how to get people to play their perennial football series: they'll pay you if you can just prove you're better than everyone else at Madden. But that's for us poor schmucks that don't already get paid to play football -- real football -- for a living. What about those poor schmucks that have to play professional football? Don't they get down with a little Madden too?
As it turns out, yes. As it also turns out, EA doesn't mind throwing a little bash for them too, squaring off the eight best players in the NFL against each other and televising the whole thing about 8 billion times a day on ESPN and ESPN2. This is the Madden Bowl, and whether you want to see it or not, it's coming.
Starting tomorrow, April 20th, you can catch the two-part finale of the sudden-death tourney between Willis McGahee (Buffalo Bills), Marcus Trufant (Seattle Seahawks), Edgerrin James (Arizona Cardinals), Chad Johnson (Cincinnati Bengals), Alex Smith (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Antonio Gates (San Diego Chargers), Mark Clayton (Baltimore Ravens) and Santana Moss (Washington Redskins) hosted by ESPN's Trey Wingo starting at 9:30PM (EST/PST).
