MVP Baseball 2005 Steps Up to the Plate

New Owner Mode, pitching/batting enhancements for EA's best selling baseball franchise, on shelves now.

Getting an early start to the baseball season, Electronic Arts has announced the release of MVP Baseball 2005 into stores nationwide.


This year's addition gives presents players at the plate with the Hitter's Eye, allowing for unmatched at-bat control, Pitch/Swing Analysis for reviewing swings, as well as a new visual indicator that makes reading pitches all the more accessible. In terms of features, MVP Baseball 2005 introduces Owner's Mode, which looks at the sport at a business perspective in enabling control of concession stand prices, promotional days, the employment of coaches, constructing fields and all that goes on behind the scenes. Also here are an added 30 Single-A minor league teams, three new mini-games, an improved Dynasty Mode, new unlockable goodies and an enhanced online play.

MVP Baseball 2005 hits stores at a slashed price of $29.99, undoubtedly to compete with Sega's MLB 2K5, due out the 28th. Keep an eye out for the PSP version of the game, set to hit in mid-March.
