With the dust of the World Series settled, Electronic Arts has announced that Manny Ramirez of the champion Boston Red Sox has been named cover athlete and spokesman for MVP Baseball 2005. Ramirez was picked to play in his 8th All-Star Game, has received his 7th Silver Slugger Award and was the American League recipient of the 2004 Hank Aaron Award for outstanding offensive performance.
“This has been an unbelievable year for me and being selected as the cover athlete for MVP Baseball 2005 is a huge honor,” admitted Ramirez. “I’m very excited about working with EA and helping to make MVP Baseball 2005 a huge success.”
MVP Baseball 2005 is expected to see release in spring 2005. Sure, it's a ways off, but we'll be sure to keep you updated on the game until then.
