Eidos Interactive announced today that it has shipped its highly-anticipated, PS2-exclusive Legacy of Kain: Defiance to North American retailers today.



"This new chapter in the epic Legacy of Kain saga focuses on intense combat that will astonish casual gamers and hardcore fans of the series alike," said Matt Knoles, Product Manager at Eidos. "Legacy of Kain: Defiance will surprise the most hardcore of fans with its rich story and plot twists, but the intensity and depth of the combat will satisfy everyone."



To celebrate the launch, Eidos has also given the official Legacy of Kain: Defiance website a major update, with new features including concept art, downloads, and a spanking new trailer. The game is out tomorrow, but do yourself a favor and stock up on some LoK: Defiance knowledge beforehand via either the game's official site or our full preview.
