Eidos has officially shipped its unique LEGO Star Wars game and it should be available at your local gameing emporium on April 2nd.

LEGO Star Wars is one of those rare games where the title gives you exactly what you get. The Star Wars prequels get a LEGO makeover. It's one of Eidos’s more original ideas, and combining two pieces of childhood nostalgia usually works well in the gaming industry. The force does, indeed, seem strong with this one as LEGO Star Wars takes you through the story of Star Wars episodes I-III. The game will even let you take control of over 40 of the series most popular characters along with a few of its famous star fighters.
