Everyone loves LEGOs. If someone says they don't, they're either lying or haven't played with them (or, quite possibly, they're a communist, in which case you probably don't want them swaying you with their anti-LEGO propaganda). The boys and girls at LEGO have realized this, and sought to empty your bank account will into your adult years by partnering up with some well-known franchises like, say, Star Wars to really milk your geek gene and it's impulse buy tendencies.
Apparently feeling this is a license rife with possibility for a game, Giant Interactive Entertainment snagged the rights to the toys-cum-interactive-entertainment and ran with it, the results of which we'll soon be able to enjoy come this April.
To tide all us over, the Beconsfield, UK-based publisher (with a little help from distributor Eidos) has whipped up a web site chock full of the usual goodies one would expect from a PR pitch gone interweb-flavored. The site offers screenshots and info for those curious, and should be regularly updated with what's sure to be nigh-incessant tidbits of marketing fodder. Expect a couple more news blurbs as we get closer to the game's release.
