Kingdom Hearts Goes Greatest Hits

$20 for one of the best games on the PS2? Yep, it's a reality.

To say the Disney/Square collaboration that begat Kingdom Hearts was a success would border on the insulting. The first game in the series has had one of the best launches in Square history for a non-Final Fantasy franchise (3 million copies sold and counting -- a million of those sold here in the U.S. after just three months) and, not surprisingly, a sequel is in the works.

Still, for some bizarre reason (likely the whole Disney thing, which, trust us, isn't that big a deal), there are still PS2 owners out there that haven't experienced KH at length, something that Square-Enix feels the need to rectify. As of the moment you read this, Greatest Hits copies of Kingdom Hearts are populating the shelves of stores nationwide, spreading the love of their red spines and fancy new Greatest Hits banners at the top.

There really is no excuse not to own this game – especially now that it's so incredibly cheap. We were so ga-ga over the game when it first came out last year that we gave it a hefty 9.3. Head on over to 57[/reviews]]the full review and get the skinny if you haven't already.

And, just for those of you screaming, "but Sam, we don't know what the new box looks like!" into your monitor as if I could year you, we've gone ahead and posted a tasty high-res version of the box, so you'll know exactly what to look for. Now what are you waiting for? Get out there and play this game!
