Kingdom Hearts: Version 2.0 Going to Japan

The Disney/Squaresoft love-child Kingdom Hearts is getting a face lift (or at least a butt cheek lift).
Published: August 23, 2002

Despite the huge success of Kingdom Hearts in Japan already (over 850,000 copies have shipped since March), Square announced that they plan to release the game, retitled "Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix," will basically be a Japanese translation of the upcoming U.S. version, including the U.S. game's theme song “Simple and Clean” sung by Utada Hikaru in English, as well as some story and character surprises I know but don't want to spoil.

The game is set for release in not so distant future, or maybe in the distant future. I wouldn't know as they haven't set a release date yet.
