+With two games already released for the Playstation, the Suikoden series is one of the most popular RPGs. Konami has announced Suikoden III will be released in Japan by the end of 2001.

+SCEI has announced the aquisition of Verant Interactive, developer of the online-hit Everquest, to form a new division of SCEI titled Sony Online Entertainment. SOE will handle the development of the broadband network.

+After the success of it's real-time war strategy-based game Kessen, Koei has announced it's plans to develop two sequels. Kessen II and Kessen III (I'm guessing) will be released in 2001 and 2002, respectively.

See ya next week!
