Juiced, the street racer that was once scrapped due to the demise of former publisher Acclaim, has finally got itself a new set of wheels and is peeling into retail stores today, as announced by THQ (the company that thankfully picked up the pieces).

"Spending the time to fine-tune key game-play elements and further develop features such as crew racing, pink slip racing and online play has resulted in one of the top street racing games available," feels Philip Holt, senior vice president, product development, THQ. "We are extremely pleased with the well-rounded racing experience Juice Games has delivered and look forward to continuing to advance THQ's position in the street racing genre."

The laundry list of features for this one include 50 unlockable cars, 100+ authentic aftermarket parts, full-fledged online play, the chance to recruit other racers and assemble crew races, and pink-slip competitions, which will hopefully distinguish Juiced from its counterparts.

Juiced sports a price tag of $49.99 and can be found in your favorite game store now.
