The plot of the game revolves around Ico, a mysterious boy with horns, who is thought to be from an evil spirit. Captured by the townspeople and brought to an empty fortress, you are left for dead to cleanse the village of this ancient curse.

Once there, you begin to have eerie dreams of a beautiful princess who is also trapped in the castle and pursued by evil spirits. When you wake up, you realize that what you thought was a dream, is actually reality.

But saving the princess and departing from the castle will not be easy. Armed with your horns and a simple stick, you'll have to fight off hordes of spider wraiths, sentries and fortress ghouls, and overcome hundreds of mind-bending puzzles. Be on the lookout for a myriad of tricks and traps as you and the princess try to escape.

The intricately puzzling adventure game called ICO hits store shelves today, so make sure to at least go out to your local electronics store and give it a test run later on, and maybe even pick it up.
