Herdy Gerdy: From Concept To Execution

Rather than try to expound on something I honestly know nothing about, I'm going to let the press release from the fine folks at Eidos lay it all out. This way, you get it straight from the horse's mouth with no middleman...and I'm a lazy, lazy man.


Story:
Gerdy, an apprentice herder, embarks on an epic quest to revive his father from an evil spell. His journey takes him across an island populated by an assortment of wild creatures. To avenge his father's nemesis and restore goodness to the island, Gerdy must hone his herding skills and ultimately compete in a magnificent tournament to become Master Herder.

Objective:
Gerdy's main task is to herd groups of wild creatures to safety. Each species varies in intelligence and personality, therefore responding uniquely to Gerdy's herding techniques, other creatures, and different environmental elements.

Tactics:
A high level of strategic thinking combined with Gerdy's experience, acquired abilities and herding tools is required to anticipate and control the reactions of the creatures.
