Mention Amercian development on the PS2, and some pundits will scoff. After all, what can touch the sheer brilliance of Metal Gear Solid 2? Or ZOE? Even games like SSX and GT3 were developed up north or overseas. Does that mean you should write off US development completely? Of course not. Games like Twisted Metal Black and Half-Life are being coded in your back yard as we speak.
There are, however, some Japanese development houses that have branches here in the US, and Namco is no different. The upcoming action shooter Dead to Rights is being developed right here in sunny California, and the first images of the game in action have surfaced. Just in case you missed 'em, here they are, in all their semi-blurry glory. (Hey, we'll take 'em as we get 'em.)
Mmmm... Knuckle sandwich
Like a scene out of a John Woo movie
Again with the John Wooness!
Awww yeah, the no-look, shotgun-to-the-face move
