Heed the Last Call
Just what we were hoping for, MORE POKER! Or is it?

It’s rare that we actually feel game promotions fit with the actual subject matter of the games themselves, but we have to hand it to Activision and their attempt to fuse the all-too-popular Alternate Reality Game with Gun. At first the two seem to have nothing in common, save for a few pokes at what makes “a western,” but there are a few clues here and there.
Last Call Poker appears to be a couple of things; a storyline involving a girl, a gun and a cooked cop, sure, but there is free poker to be had there too, should you find the wealth of celebrity endorsed and licensed offerings that have hit the PS2 in recent weeks not to your liking.
Creating a user profile will get you 10,000 chips for a head start, but playing poker seems just the start of the game. Plugging in “andadaughter” under the player profile search pulls up a page with some interesting videos, while checking out The Muck actually fills you in on the plot and evolving storyline of the ARG.
Be sure to check out the official trailer for the game to get caught up (uh, almost) on what’s going on, and then create a profile and dive right in. And tell ‘em TotalPlayStation sent ya!
