The Guitar Gods Would Approve
You’ll be rocking out on that SG controller soon enough – best check out Guitar Hero’s song line-up now!

Nothing sparks our interests quite like the game industry’s ever-growing music genre. Sure, DDR is always back annually with another installment (even with recent competition in the rhythm action genre), but it’s the Amplitudes and FreQuencys of the world that really gets us. And how about that Guitar Hero? Call us Harmonix obsessed, but the idea of actually rocking out with a quasi-guitar accessory to rock hit after rock hit sounds friggin' awesome.
With the final songlist now set in stone, we’re quite convinced that rock fans alike will have no trouble getting into this one, as the genre’s gamut is run 20 times this side of Tuesday and back. Just dig what’s in store, dudes!
"Ace Of Spades"
"Bark at the Moon"
"Cochise"
"Cowboys from Hell"
"Crossroads"
"Fat Lip"
"Frankenstein"
"Godzilla"
"Heart Full of Black"
"Hey You"
"Higher Ground"
"I Love Rock 'n' Roll"
"I Wanna Be Sedated"
"Infected"
"Iron Man"
"Killer Queen"
"More than a Feeling"
"No One Knows"
"Sharp Dressed Man"
"Smoke on the Water"
"Spanish Castle Magic"
"Stellar"
"Symphony of Destruction"
"Take It Off"
"Take Me Out"
"Texas Flood"
"Thunderkiss '65"
"Unsung"
"You've Got Another Thing Comin"
"Ziggy Stardust"
And like you won’t be blistered enough from shredding through these 30 hits time and time again, an additional 17 tracks from featured up-and-coming independent rock bands are yours to unlock. Confirmed are “Fire It Up” from Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society (no word yet on the presence of the “Happy Birthday” song… ATHF, anyone?) and Graveyard BBQ, victors of the “Be A Guitar Hero” competition, with “Cheat on the Church.”
Are you ready to rock? WE SAID, ARE YOU READY… TO… ROCCCCCCCCCCK? …You are? Brilliant! Guitar Hero should be electrifying shelves by the week’s end.
