Target Makes it Easier to Rock Out

Provided you want the PS2 version of Guitar Hero III, that is.

It's a fairly safe bet that a lot of you who have played any of the Guitar Hero have probably already picked up an extra guitar (or if you bought the bundle for the second game, you just got it as a natural part of jumping into the sequel. With the enhanced focus on multiplayer -- especially in Guitar Hero III --- however, it's grown increasingly important to have two axes on hand at all times for maximum possible rockin'.

On the odd chance that you're just now jumping into the GH pool, however, Activision, RedOctane and Target are making it fairly easy to do so in style with a $110 bundle that has the game, two (we're guessing wired at this price) guitars and a big sticker pack in case you want to accessorize your instrument. Because if there's one thing that musicians are concerned about, it's making sure their guitars are pretty.

“Guitar Hero isn’t just a game, it’s a social and cultural phenomenon,” said Troy Peterson, Senior Buyer at Target. “Our exclusive bundle gives fans a chance to hit the ground running right out of the box with two guitars and lets players take advantage of the new multiplayer features in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.”

And there you have it. The bundle will go on sale at the same time as the regular game, next Sunday, the 28th, and only at Target. And now you knowwww!
