First Footage of San Andreas is Reeling
See Los Santos like you never have before – in full streaming action!

You knew it was coming. You knew that sooner or later, Rockstar Games would have top the many screenshots by releasing an official trailer for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. And by golly, they finally have.
Clocking in at a minute and fifteen seconds, the first footage of the game is more of a tour of Los Santos than anything else. From the hills of Vinewood to the sun drenched streets, the similarities to Los Angeles are unmistakable. Local residents and gangs are also presented in full swing, with ladies and fellas boogieing beachside and gang members rolling by with the tops down.
The trailer wouldn't be complete without our favorite protagonist, Carl Johnson, doing his thing, which he indeed… does. We're given a peek at the many faces of CJ, tagging graffiti on a wall and shooting some pool, as well as partaking in some less wholesome activities like hopping a fence to prep a robbery and loading up for a four-person drive-by. Soon it'll be you, friends, soon it'll be you.
We can only sum up so much – you really have to see the trailer for yourself. If the new footage isn't enough, the new screenshots and officially launched San Andreas website should tickle your fancy. Currently, the site has a full-on flash section dedicated to Los Santos, complete with an interactive map and the familiar sounds of the city streets. The site is rounded out with proper sections for screens, movies, news, and the to-be-added soundtrack. Sweet, sweet anticipation…
