In a recent list provided by ComputerShopper.com, showing off ten of the most wanted PC and console titles of the week, two PlayStation 2 titles managed to make their way onto the roster.
What's more, is that neither of these two titles have actually been released in stores. This means that a large frenzy of pre-orders by consumers has made these titles, two of the most wanted PlayStation 2 games.
Of the games, Square's heavily anticipated RPG title, Final Fantasy X has made it's way into 4th position. The game is expected to retail for approximately $49.99, and will ship on September 1st, 2001.
The second PlayStation 2 title is none other than Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec, which will retail for approximately $49.99 with an ESRB Rating of E for Everyone. The long-awaited third installment in the famous driving series, Gran Turismo 3 hopes to bring the most realism ever seen in a racing title, utilizing the full potential of the PS2 hardware. This racing title made it onto the roster in 5th position, right behind Final Fantasy X.
Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec is expected to ship out on June 15th, 2001. All prices have been listed in U.S. dollars.
