Logitech, world-famous for their outstanding line of controllers, joysticks, steering wheels, and other PC accessories, has officially
announced that they will be bringing their new GT Force wheel for the PS2 in time for Gran Turismo 3. The news comes right off the heels of Sony's announcement that GT3 will be delayed until June in the United States.[blockquote]"Polyphony Digital has developed a stunningly realistic racing game with Gran Turismo 3. The Logitech GT Force wheel adds to that realism, giving users an unprecendented gaming and driving experience," said Ted Hoff, vice president and general manager of Logitech's Interactive Entertainment Division. "It has been a pleasure to work closely with Polyphony Digital and Sony Computer Entertainment in developing the first-ever force feedback wheel for use with PlayStation 2."[/blockquote]No official word has yet to be announced concerning the earlier rumors of a limited-edition packaged deal that would give you both GT3 and the wheel at a special low price (compared to buying them seperately). Sony and Logitech will have to come together with some sort of lisencing argeement for that to happen, but don't count them out yet.
