I'm Just Drivin' In the Raaaain!
What happens when the tracks in GT3 get rained on? See for yourself.

If there was any doubt that Gran Turismo 3 is the best looking racing game ever made, these shots should just about destroy that doubt. Sony released some shots of the game's night driving modes, complete with rain-slicked pavements, and they're simply breathtaking. Naysayers can bash the system all they like, but these latest shots are quite literally perfect.
To add a little more variety to what we've been seeing, there are also a handful of screens of the rally mode back from GT2 and in full, high-res glory, and just to keep those of you still itchin' for some metropolan scenery happy, shots of the pack racing through the city.
Keep in mind, also, that this is STILL only a first generation development effort. It's safe to say GT3 will not only look better when it's done, but future games will trump it in the following years as developers familiarize themselves with the hardware. What's truly great about Gran Turismo 3 is that it not only delivers unprecidented graphics -- and at 60fps -- but kills all the claims that anti-aliasing and elimination of flicker couldn't be done.
GT3 still has a way to go before it's completely finished, and this time developer Polyphony Digital is making sure that the game is 100% perfect before hitting store shelves.
Can you say photo-realistic?
Check out the mist kicked up by the cars' tires
Soooooo pretty!
Blasting around the bend
I wonder if there are any spons-- nevermind
Open 'er up; it's the straightaway!
Can you say detailed?
Catch me if you can
It just looks amazing
Almost like a photograph
Straightaway, here they come
Is that the leg of the Space Needle?
A forresty glen
