Electronic Arts has announced that GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, a first-person shooter and the latest in the popular 007 series, has shipped off to retailers. As GoldenEye, the former 00 agent who got the boot for his reckless behavior, players begin their rise in the criminal underworld, exploiting 100+ weapon combinations along the way with a story that spans over 20 single-player levels. The game also allows for multiplayer split-screen, with 20 odd arenas for your wrecking pleasure, and the option of online play gives players the chance to show the world just how devious they really are.
“By allowing fans to step into the shoes of the ‘bad guys’, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent is the most exciting, cutting-edge episode of the Bond video game series to date,” suggests Patrick Gilmore, Executive Producer at EA Los Angeles.
GoldenEye: Rogue Agent has stepped into stores with an MSRP of $49.99 and a "T" for "Teen" ESRB rating.
